Oregon Sunstone is currently mined only at two mining regions in South-East Oregon high deserts. Oregon Sunstone is extremely rare, and not found anywhere else in the world.  There's no other gemstone in the world like Oregon Sunstone sunstone, because it’s the only sunstone with copper inclusions and the only sunstone that can be transparent and have natural red or orange colors. Oregon Sunstones are sunstones found in only in fine gemstone quality. This gemstone is never heated, irradiated, but left entirely natural. Some Oregon sunstones exhibit a glow from within due to millions of microscopic copper platelets, known as schiller.
