Green Kyanite is mined from deposits in the eastern Indian state of Odisha (formerly Orissa) discovered in 2009 and was initially thought to be a new variety of Alexandrite. With a geological scarcity accentuated by faceting difficulties, Green Kyanite is also one of the few gemstones that are not enhanced in any way.  Green Kyanite is the rarest color of Kyanite and the most sought after.  Its stunning green hues can help promote healing, abundance, unlimited growth, and vitality, and help you tap into your inner strength and resilience. The cleavage properties of this rare stone are very  difficult to cut and contribute to its higher price than other gemstones.  Green Kyanite can help push the strength that's in your mind down to your entire body which will lead to balance within yourself.
