Bumblebee Jasper is a very rare gemstone comprised of gypsum, sulfur, and hematite.  Bumblebee Jasper is mined in Indonesia from the side of a volcano. The vivid colors are from sulfur and arsenic compounds. Bumblebee Jasper is not a true jasper but a stone called Travertine and has a calcite base making it soft but brilliant colored.
